Timeline to be set up with Kompass BMS

Week 0: We understand that choosing a business management system can be a big decision, which is why we want to make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. This week, we invite you to explore our website, read through our product descriptions, and check out our customer reviews.

Week 1: The kick-off meeting with Kompass is a crucial step in your journey towards streamlining your business operations. Our team is committed to delivering a personalized and seamless experience, and we’re excited to help your business thrive which is why we take this time to learn about your desired business outcomes, needs and goals. Our team will answer any questions you have about our system in this kick-off meeting, and we’ll lay out a plan for the next few weeks.

Week 2-3: Implementation stage where the Kompass team integrates the platform seamlessly into the existing systems. We do this through importing your data so that nothing is lost during the transition.

Kompass offers a range of integration options to ensure seamless collaboration with other systems. Different departments use different software, and that’s why we’ve made sure that Kompass can easily integrate into many existing tech stacks. Full integration is available with popular accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage 50, and Unanet, where Kompass takes care of synchronizing data directly with the accounting system. Alternatively, data can be exported into CSV/Excel files, which can then be used for reporting or to import them into other systems. Additionally, Kompass is fully based on a REST API, which enables integration with any system that can talk to REST APIs, allowing for flexible integration options.

Kompass provides excellent support for integration, and customers are assured of assistance in every step of the integration process. The type of integration chosen is the variant when looking at the time needed to get fully up and running with Kompass . We can typically get you set up and running in a matter of days or weeks, depending on the complexity of your system. For systems that have not been integrated before, customers can request integration, and the timeline for integration will depend on the system’s API and requirements.

Kompass is continuously expanding its integration capabilities to cater to diverse business needs. For instance, planned integrations for 2023 include Deltek VantagePoint, Xero, and Sage Intacct. While Kompass doesn’t have webhooks yet, it is a feature that will be available in the future. Want to see what else is on the horizon?
